This is the first pic I drew for Project Irony. I was inspired by the art of an unknown comic I had read. The comic was done completely in pencil but was shaded and fantastic. I was thinking at that time that I would do Project Irony that way. But now I think ink/color would be better.

Mime -

Mime is a writer with an exhaustively tragic past where in lies the loss of his speech. This is an early and very exaggerated sketch.

Spin - character sketches

Spin is a fantastic and passionate dancer who doesn't let her lost leg slow her down. In the beginning I though she would lean more towards the traditional dance, but slowly she's leaning towards more of a martial-arts/breakdance type style. Here are some early sketches trying to figure out where her center of gravity would be and her sense of balance.

Project Irony

A long thought out and debated idea of mine has been a graphic novel by the title "Project Irony". Taking place in a different future, with it's own overwhelming social issues, this story would follow those who have been 'kicked' out of society and no longer exist as far as official records go. This group would prove, however, to be the cure desperately needed.

As of now, this project is a 'slow-go'. I will be posting some concept art and character/story info as I can. Hopefully I will have time amid other projects to really take a running start and launch into Project Irony.
